HOOK, PRICE SHINE AT VILLA PARK

GLO’SHIRE’S INTERNATIONALS, BILL HOOK AND TOM PRICE, PLAYED A LARGE PART IN THE VICTORY OF R. I. SCORER’S XV OVER NORTH MIDLANDS AT VILLA PARK BY 10 POINTS TO 6.

PRICE SCORED THE FIRST OF THE TWO TRIES, WHILE HOOK MADE THE ALL-IMPORTANT CONVERSIONS WHICH SETTLED THE ISSUE.

BOTH PLAYERS, TOO, SHOWED THEIR BEST FORM, BILL HOOK BEING PARTICULARLY SOUND AT FULL-BACK.

GORDON RIMMER, THE ENGLAND SCRUM-HALF, SCORED THE OTHER TRY FOR SCORER’S XV.
