An interview with the late Di Long, conducted by Andy White in 1998. Although at the time there were no plans for it to be made publicly available, her family has given us express permission to upload it to this website. Di’s long involvement as club caterer and passionate supporter also provides a valuable insight into the concerns of many in the early days of professionalisation. (Although we’ve done some editing and digital restoration on this recording, some glitches remain and sound quality is poor in places.)
