Management of the Project

The members of the management committee set up to oversee and organise this project represent three of the partner organisations who are contributing funding and manpower to the project, namely Friends of Gloucestershire Archives (FoGA), Gloucestershire Archives (GA), and Gloucester Rugby (GRFC).

The committee members are:

Malcolm King (FoGA Volunteer) – Chairman

John Theyers (FoGA Volunteer) - Treasurer

Dick Williams (FoGA Volunteer) – Webmaster

Gary Little (GRFC Community Manager)

Jill Shonk (GA Access and Learning Team Leader)

Kate Maisey (GA Collections Manager)

Various aspects of the project have been assigned to sub-committees or individuals:

Finance – John Theyers

Data Gathering – Malcolm King, Kate Maisey

Website and Data Management – Dick Williams

Events and Publicity – Gary Little, Jill Shonk, John Putley

Education and Interpretation – Jill Shonk, Gary Little, John Putley

Heritage Lottery funding was granted to FoGA, so the management committee reports principally to the FoGA committee, but is also responsible for ensuring that each of the project partners – FoGA, GA, GRFC and the Heritage Lottery Fund - are informed of progress on the project.
