This project is a partnership between four organisations:

Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) is the UK’s leading advocate for the value of heritage to modern life. It sustains and transforms our heritage through innovative investment in projects with a lasting impact on people and places, and is providing the majority of the funding for our project through a grant of £49,900.

Gloucester Rugby (GRFC), the history of which is of course the reason for the project. The Club is providing at its Kingsholm stadium a venue for project displays and exhibits, and is actively supporting the project with a continuous stream of both professional assistance and funding.

Gloucestershire Archives (GA) preserves and offers access to the cultural and corporate memory of Gloucestershire. It provides environmentally controlled storage of documents, photographs and audio-visual recordings, and supports communities in keeping Gloucestershire’s heritage alive. It is actively supporting the project with professional assistance and in-kind contributions.

Friends of Gloucestershire Archives (FoGA) educates and raises public awareness of the role of Gloucestershire Archives. It is responsible for monitoring the expenditure of HLF funds on the project, and provides some funding and the bulk of the volunteers who form the main workforce on the project.

We are grateful to all of our partners, without each of whom this project could not have happened, and we thank them for their continuing enthusiastic support.
