Thanks for these memories, Ken. What happened to the Gloucestershire team photos - do you still have them?
My father, Dai Walter, Glos County Team Sec for many years, played for Cheltenham in the 1920s. All the names featured, apart from 'Salome' were well known to me as a child and appeared in team photographs hanging in our house at the time.
