"W.B." reports on touring sides at Kingsholm

The match referred to by W.B. – which the New Zealand Army  XV won 31-0 – was played at Kingsholm on 26 Jan 1946 in perfect conditions, drawing a crowd of 18,000. It was part of a 30+ match European tour, designed to mirror a peace-time full international tour, the British leg starting at Swansea on October 27 and finishing at Aberavon on March 2 and the tour winding up with matches in France and Germany. The visitors wore the All Black strip, apart from a white stripe on their socks.

The article then recalls previous tourists at Kingsholm.
