Extract taken from a Cheltenham v. Gloucester match report in the Citizen on 24 Nov 1923:

‘We understand that at the close of the game Harry expressed his deep regret that on the impulse of the moment he so far forgot himself as to unfairly interfere with Miller who at once accepted the apology, and asked Harry to think no more of the incident.’
