This section contains moments of brilliance by Gloucester players.   Only some are in the Gloucester shirt.

2002

18 May 2002: Sinbad/Beim Try against Newcastle
Gloucester 60 Newcastle 9
A quarter-final game in the Zurich League Championship.  It was and still is Gloucester’s biggest win over Newcastle.  Gloucester went on to win the final against Bristol at Twickenham.

26 May 2002 – Sinbad’s Magic moment for England v the Barbarians
Have you ever seen the like of this bit of magic?
An outrageous dummy then he outruns Lomu.

As well as the 19 year-old James Simpson-Daniel, there were four other Gloucester players in the England team: Andy Gomersall, Trevor Woodman, Phil Vickery and James Forrester.  Simpson-Daniel and Forrester scored tries, and Gomersall kicked one conversion.

2006

Lamb to Sinbad, Sinbad foxes Dellaglio, Bailey scores
6 May 2006: Gloucester 32 Wasps 37 – but what a try!
The last league game of the season.  It was only the sixth start of Ryan Lamb’s career, and he showed incredible courage to open up from inside the Gloucester 22, and start the process leading to a rousing try.  The next game Gloucester beat London Irish to win the European Challenge Cup.
