Day 1 - Tuesday 8 May - Removing the turf
The old pitch goes.
Day 2 - Wednesday 9 May - Turf goes and GPS is prepared.
An estimated 200 tons of soil and grass clippings need to be removed from site.
Day 3 - Thursday 10 May - Levelling the surface
All day was spent bulldozing the soil to start creating the required profile of the new pitch.
Day 7 - Monday 14 May - Work starts on the new drainage system
The new drainage system is started whilst creating the new profile of the pitch continues.

Moving sand from the car parks onto the pitch area.
Day 15 - Tuesday 22 May - Spreading first layer of sand
Spreading the sand starts.
Day 16 - Wednesday 23 May - Sand spreading continues
The pitch area is covered with the first layer of sand.

Day 18 - Friday 25 May - The final stages of preparation
