Good to listen to 'JV' reminiscing about not only Gloucester but Cheltenham and Stroud as well. I do not know whether my Dad (Dai Walter) ever told me but JV relates that the first match he saw as a child was at Kingsholm when Dad was sent off playing for Chelt at Kingsholm. I can't imagine that that was a very pleasant experience walking the breadth of the pitch to get off.
