On 31 August 2018, the day before Gloucester’s 5,000th competitive match, Mark Cummings in his Breakfast Show on Radio Gloucestershire interviewed Malc King, Chairman of Gloucester Rugby Heritage CIO.
During the interview Malc explained the origins of the club and where the early matches were played, the significance of 1891 and the colours of the early kits.
