MAC Cartoon, 1927

Featuring Gloucester & Gloucestershire players and administrators

(We've split the original cartoon into separate sections - click on the images to see larger versions.)

This was published in the Bystander on 28 Dec 1927 and must have been one of a series of cartoons. It is labelled "No. 9. - GLOUCESTER" and carries the words:

"Our artist's impression of this season's Gloucester R.F.C., a club that has produced many a stalwart footballer, among the most famous being Tom Voyce, one of England's most virile forwards. Gloucester are always a tough proposition, and frequently cause the downfall of the London clubs when they tour the "West Countree"".
