Extract from Minutes of GRFC Committee Meeting held on 24 January 1956.

“Players’ Dressing Room.   Referring to the provision of a ceiling to the home team changing room authorised at the last meeting the President said it had been overlooked that the room would be deprived of the light from the glass in the roof and that if the ceiling was fixed electric light would be required, even in daytime. He deprecated the idea from a health point of view and moved that the minute covering this be rescinded. This was seconded by Mr. Sutton, Players Representative, and agreed. It was proposed by Mr. S. H. Davies seconded by Mr. P. Ford that heating be provided for the room by means of an electric stove fixed to the wall. This was agreed.
